HANDWOVEN ANQA COLLECTION LEATHER CARE

The bodies of each Mianqa bag is hand-woven one by one. The texture, color and grain of each hexagon piece may vary.  This should not be considered as a defect, but as what makes this bag unique, beautiful and sustainable.

Mianqa handbags are made from premium quality surplus cowhide leather pieces, excess cut-outs left from different production lots. Even the highest quality leather will have small irregularities and natural markings like healed scars, scratches, insect bites, fat wrinkles and other markings common to cow hides.  These are often visible in full grain leather and considered by many as the true sign of premium leather.  These slight irregularities are incorporated into our bags to showcase each bag's natural individuality and handcrafted nature.

The photos we use on our website are intended to be as closely matched as possible to the true product, however due to the natural process in which our leathers are tanned, the colors can vary from time to time.
